I had the pleasure of greeting participants and collecting data at the Kane County Recycling Extravaganza Saturday Feb 28th.

It was a record-breaking Extravaganza where more than 1,000 residents turned out support this effort. Altogether we collected, over 30,000 pounds of paper to recycle as well as at least 1,500 pounds of batteries, and about 18,000 pounds of electronics, textiles, and books for proper disposal and/or recycling, and more! You can read all about it on KaneCountyConnects.com.
